The "Now/Then/When" Art Show Open Call

ATTENTION ARTISTS
OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

    The Northern Forest Heritage Park, Tri County CAP, Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire are sponsoring an art show called, Now/Then/When. Artworks should relate to the city's connection to the paper industry. Preference will be given to works that deal with the current state of change in the city of Berlin and the present-day issues Berlin faces.

    All artists must be former or current Berlin-area residents. The show will run from August 24th through September 8th 2007. A jury of local artists including Roland Simard and Andre Belanger will review the works. Rachelle Beaudoin, a mixed media artist and former Berlin resident, will curate the exhibition. All media is welcomed and new media, conceptual, or non-traditional work is encouraged.

Now/Then/When is funded in part by the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.

Please submit the following:

  • 1-3 JPG images of the piece you are submitting. Please number the JPGS in the order you wish them to be reviewed and with your last and first name. Example: 01beaudoinrachelle. The images may be on CD or sent via email.
  • Video artists may submit a DVD.
  • Please include a separate sheet that explains each JPG using the numbers you provided. Please describe each piece including the following information: Title, Date, Size, Media. Please describe your connection to Berlin or dates you resided in the city.
  • You may also submit an optional artist statement describing your work.
  • If you have any additional notes or technical needs please include them on this page.
