"Can it be true that music might redeem our fallen world?"
- Robert Fripp, Love Cannot Bear

In April 2006, a re-working of a popular Lynryd Skynryd song entitled "Sweet Home Berlin, New Hampshire" was released via the internet by a duo calling themselves LogJam. Both the song and the duo teemed with a love for the Paper City that resonated in the hearts of many of those who called Berlin, NH their home at one time or another. Within three months, over 3,000 people clicked on to this song, listened and responded with comments like:

"Oh Man! I love this song. I cant wait to hear more..I will always love Berlin....."

This momentum and spirit has led to LogJam becoming more than just a band, but rather a celebration. Claiming to have "cut their teeth to the Berlin music scene like a Berlin Middle School bandsaw to pine," the boys of LogJam will present "LogJam 2007" on Saturday, August 25th at 8:30pm at the Northern Forest Heritage Park, in tandem with the "Now/Then/When" art show curated by Rachelle Beaudoin. The event will showcase a variety of Berlin musicians performing both original and cover material in a stripped-down, acoustic setting, set to the backdrop of Berlin-themed video projections.
